"We hadn’t planned to stay here, but had to find different lodging at the last minute when the fires near Fairbanks changed our plans. This hotel was half the cost of anything else in Anchorage at the last minute on a holiday weekend, and given some of the reviews I was nervous. It was great! Finding a hotel room for a family of 5 can be very difficult, but they brought us a roll-a-way bed and extra towels at no extra charge. There was a microwave but no mini fridge. I believe there used to be a homeless camp behind the hotel, but it was no longer there in July 2025. (Homelessness is a huge issue in Anchorage though!) There was plenty of free parking. Breakfast was okay, but not the best we’ve had. Bagels, juice, waffles (mine didn’t cook all the way though), cereal, muffins, prepackaged breakfast burritos and sandwiches. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful. The front desk worker when we checked in was also very helpful. Location was convenient and the room had decent blackout curtains. . Would stay here again!"
