"Our overnight stay is memorable for all the right reasons, on arrival the reception team were polite and attentive, our room was clean, and impressive! The lady behind the bar in the bar restaurant went above and beyond even offering a tray with fudge and a message finding out we had got married that day. In the morning our breakfast in the orangery was delicious with a huge variety ,staff again were attentive friendly and efficient! We had a lovely stay and will be back."

"My room was spotless, quite large and very comfortable. TV was excellent with a good choice of channels. Hotel was probably one of the safest I have been to. I was in the annexe and you had to use your room keys to open numerous doors before entering your room. The two days I was there (Mon & Tues) unfortunately had the restaurnt closed on both nights. Whenever I return to Tonbridge/Tunbridge Wells again, this is the hotely I will definitely choose."

"We were going to a concert and then visiting friends who live nearby, so decided last minute to stay overnight — SO glad we did! Love this place! The rooms, the food and the staff made it such a treat. The building and decor is all very unique and authentic and added to the great experience. All the ladies were delightful and made us feel so welcome. Shout-out for Charlotte who checked us in and was friendly and helpful. Also Emma, the manager, was super friendly and kind the following morning. She made sure we’d had a good night and checked that we had everything we needed for breakfast. She gave such lovely service! The breakfast deserves a special mention! breakfast burrito, and poached eggs, bacon and avocado on sourdough — both 5 ⭐ Absolutely delicious! A shout-out to Vicky for our room it was spotless and fresh. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers were great. Don’t hesitate to book — we highly recommend it!"

"Unfortunately onsite Parking was listed, which wasn’t true, a mistake by hotel.com, (not the host) and this caused a great deal of problems as my friend was unable to walk far due to a recent back operation. Host was very helpful, lots of directions, and communicative. The apartment was lovely, well equipped and very quirky, but warning, lots of stairs."

"The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. I did not eat at the hotel so can not comment on the food. It is a very old hotel located in an excellent area. The car park is only a two minute walk from the hotel and easy to find (I phoned prior to my arrival and was given excellent directions by a friendly member of staff). The hotel is definitely in need of a refurbishment but this did not detract from my stay. I would certainly stay again."

"The manager and staff at this hotel go above and beyond. My wife is disabled and travelling can be a challenge. The folks here just go out of the way to make things as easy as they can. The accessible room is large and the bathroom with its roll in shower and shower stool is well designed and functional. Top marks to all the staff."
