"Great staff and excellent property "

"This is such a special place for our family! The staff is so friendly, the accommodations are beautiful, and the views are spectacular. A few shining stars that were exceptional with their service were Rafael at Las Marias Restaurant, Enrique at Los Riscos Restaurant, and Arturo and Jesus poolside at El Patio. Cesar at Los Patios was the best bartender EVER! He took such good care of us-great drinks and outstanding service. We will be back!"

"Almost everything was perfect. The resort was beautiful, the rooms were nice, and pools were great. But I can only give 6/10 because the thing that was’t perfect was a really important thing - the food service. It took too long to be seated and get our food. We waited hours just to be seated. One evening we went for dinner at 6pm and didn’t get seated until 7:30pm. We had kids with us and I really began to worry that we might not eat. And there was no buffet option as an alternative. Then, once seated, the food took forever to arrive at our table. We didn’t leave the restaurant until 9:30pm that evening. 3.5 hours from start to finish is too long. After the second time dinner took this long, we decided we had to go to the restaurant at 5pm (right when it opens); but then it still took 2 hours to finish. Better, but still not good. The only way I would feel comfortable going back to this resort is if there was a buffet option for dinner. Someplace where we could quickly eat within 30 minutes."

"Staff was really nice and hotel was definitely a 3 star hotel. It’s not bad but it doesn’t look like the pictures. The windows in the room are like you’re in a basement. You can’t open them because there isn’t a screen. There isn’t an elevator and there are LOTS of steps so not handicapped accessible. "

"The rooms were very nice and clean. And cooled down from the heat. The staff was very nice and always attentive, the valets were amazing and its nice of them to shuttle you around if you dont want to walk from place to place on the resort, its a big resort. We enjoyed the walking and the exercise as we werent there to be lazy like some, food and drinks were great all over the property. We will be coming back for sure."

"The room was amazing. 3 bedroom villa, family of 5. Food was 8/10…we did all inclusive, if the prices we saw were accurate it would be almost prohibitive not to. Breakfast the best. Pools 9.5/10. Really nice. Gym was 9/10. Staff 10/10. Nespresso coffee and pods in room. Currently construction on the ocean side of vista encantada, but wasn’t very impactful. Only real complaint was the pillows…small and flat. It was better than we expected from the Expedia descriptions. Scheduled van to/from airport was ~ $250 round trip for 5. "
