"This place was incredible! Very well appointed and had everything to make our stay perfect. The breakfast buffet was extensive. Then there were snacks all day with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. There was also a great “ honor system” bar available all day. High tea was also served daily. The location was perfect. The water taxis, ferry and sea planes were right across the street and the pedestrian shopping area was adjacent to the hotel. Couldn’t have had a better time."

"We liked having plates, cutlery and a toaster. I would suggest putting up a sign on the cupboard that clients are responsible for washing dishes. It was unclear to us especially since there was no dish soap. Parking is very congested but, it is free."

"Unbeatable location in an iconic hotel. The hotel is starting to feel dated, no smart tv’s, shampoo and conditioner were empty upon checking and took 2 days for the housekeeping staff to refill after our initial call. Pool and gym areas are wonderful!"

"This is a very conveniently located hotel within easy walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and the harbour. There is ample parking which is easy to access and reasonably priced. The hotel is well kept and staff are helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious and well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The room was dark and quiet at night making it easy to sleep. However, breakfast was disappointing which is why I have only given the hotel 4 stars; the tea was already made and so was very stewed, the pastries were cold and chewy, the scrambled egg was cold. Despite that, this is a good hotel overall and I would recommend it for a stay in Victoria."

"Highly recommend this outstanding hotel, was our favorite on our Vancouver Island trip! Stayed in the Master Suites, which were large, decorated nicely & beautiful. The views of the area were gorgeous from the property, as well as from our room. We ate in the restaurant 2 nights. The menu had great variety, food phenomenal. Staff friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay there again if we return to the area."
