"Amazing staff with great local recommendations. Property was spotless, welcome water upon arrival. Perfectly located to stay in Poliagno A Mare. We had a rental car and left it at the train station for ease, only a quick 4 minute walk to the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Great lodging: clean room;; comfortable bed; fantastic showe; best location in town to base yourself at if you are a solo traveler touring the Bari region or just staying in Polignano. THE TWO LADY OWNERS (mom and daughter) and front desk staff person are wonderful and react immediately to your needs. Been in Italy three weeks and stayed in some nice places but La Perla is the best in terms of value and quality. Plus the place is almost brand new."

"We had a beautiful suite with a wonderfully comfortable mattress, and couch. There was a direct and great view of the beach, located in the historic part of the city. the staff was accommodating, and made you feel like family. The included breakfast was acceptable. My one suggestion for improvement would be to have counter space for toiletries and storage space for unpacking your suitcase. Otherwise near perfection."

"The resort is nice and has a lot of amenities. The property is located further outside of town than I expected though. And I would highly recommend having a vehicle if you stay at this property as transportation is very expensive in this area. They do have a free shuttle but it only goes to the closest town and doesn’t run late. If you plan to swim in the sea you must be able to climb down a ladder to get in/out of the water so if you have any mobility issues or are elderly, this could be...

"This hotel is in a fantastic location and everything you need is in walking distance. The staff were really friendly and helpful and communication with the hotel was so easy. The room was a lovely size and felt very clean. Breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty. Our only downside was it that it wasn’t clear to us that the spa was at an additional cost (€100 per couple) so we didn’t end up using this and this is why we chose this hotel. "This place was perfect to end our trip! we loved how private it was and the views were stunning! Very close to town so it didn't feel out of the way! They have bikes on the property and it was easy enough to ride into town. We had Breakfast every morning on our own patio and all very good with amazing staff that was very accommodating. My husband and I would definitely stay here again."
