The place was centrally located, our room was spacious, clean bathroom, bed was comfortable and clean linens. Matteo was very helpful, gave us so many suggestions from parking and restaurants.The breakfast has variety of spread and it was on the roof terrace. To get in the place were steps/stairs but I guess Matteo will help with luggages, (we only have backpacks as we only stayed overnight).

Great stay at Tra le Mura B&B, easy 10min walk from the train station and walking distance to the main strip, the room was clean and more than enough, bathroom was a little small but manageable. The host Matteo was really lovely, made check in easy. Breakfast on the roof terrace was great with a wide variety of food. Would definitely stay here again!

The proprietor was the most kind and helpful person in that position I have ever encountered in my many years of international travel. I have some mobility issues, and he brought our bags both up and down the steep stairs to the rooms. The breakfast on the unbelievably lovely top patio was simply fabulous and had a panoramic view of the Adriatic and old section of town. I highly recommend this spot as the place to stay in Polignano A Mare Italy

We had the most excellent stay! Matteo helped us navigate the train system to arrive, and set up a transfer for us to and from the B and B. The room was super clean, all the staff was amazing and so nice! He also helped us set up a boat tour. This is an amazing find, and I would most definitely come back!!!

Very service minded and friendly host. He also took spme time to chat with us at breakfadt and made sure all was good. Good breakfast. The room as well as the entire facility was very clean. It’s a fine B&B located on a picturesque street right close to the main street and the old town. Location is a dream. We also appreciated the host who was most helpful from arranging a golf cart to bring our luggage and us to the place and to help us with activity and restaurant suggestions and bookings. Super helpful. Our room was very small (I know, Europe) but functional. The bathroom very small. If you’re above average size- good luck showering as the enclosure is so small. For the downsides- one was the bed. It was beyond firm and difficult to get a restful sleep. The other downside was the squeaking/rubbing sound that went on 2 of the 3 days and nights. There is a plastic roll-shutter upstairs off the breakfast room that made an annoying sound with any wind. Unfortunately for us, the last two days were the windiest. Lucky I brought earplugs to help dampen the disturbance but between that and the bed, I did not get a good sleep.

From the moment we arrived at Tra Le Mura Bed & Breakfast, our experience was exceptional. Matteo, our host, demonstrated remarkable hospitality; he truly is one of the best in the industry. He arranged for a golf cart to pick us up from the train station, as well as a tuk-tuk to Calaponte Marina for a delightful boat tour. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace, accompanied by a refreshing ocean breeze. The location is ideal, with numerous restaurants within walking distance—Via Roma and Grotta Palazzese are just a block away. It’s also a short 10-minute walk to Lama Monachile beach. After our check-out, Matteo kindly contacted us to inform us that we had left behind a ring belonging to my niece, which speaks volumes about the honesty of the staff. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, featuring excellent bedding and a pristine bathroom. Additionally, there is a gelato shop and a place to book activities, such as bike rentals and boat tours, just steps from the bed and breakfast. We were fortunate enough to witness a double rainbow over the ocean during our stay, which was a stunning highlight. I highly recommend Tra Le Mura and look forward to returning for a longer visit to explore more of Puglia. Thank you once again, Matteo, for your outstanding hospitality!
