"Great location in the Gaslamp. Travelers: Mom and 12yr old child. The lobby looks much nicer in photos than it does in person. It’s not bad, but the pictures make it seem larger and more upscale than it actually is. We stayed in a single room with a private bath. The room had a bit of an odd odor—likely a mix of an older building and cleaning products. The bed was a bunk (twin over full), which was unexpected; based on the photos, I thought it would be just a full-size bed. It was too squeaky...

"Bad: the number to get “help” was super off putting. First, I called to get help with my room’s access pin and “we’ll call you right back and reset your pin” turned into waiting roughly 10 min and I had to call THEM back for the pin. Then the smart TV wouldn’t let me log in to anything or even update apps on the tv that needed it. So AGAIN called the “help” line intermittently for TWO PLUS HOURS to get resolution, with absolutely ZERO help. Finally gave up…. But they were basically like “sucks...
