"For context, we stayed here as part of our honeymoon in Portugal, and it was by far the best place we stayed. The design of the hotel was beautiful. Everywhere you looked, there were fantastic views of the Douro River and surrounding hills framed by massive windows. The facilities were amazing. "This property was excellent in many ways. Location 2 mins walk from Camara Gaia metro station Pingo Doce supermarket almost opposite. Super value for money Spacious room, with very comfy bed Host was helpful and very available Breakfast included was also very good and tasty, loved the fresh bread rolls. Just be aware it is located on Av Republica so there is some traffic noise."

"Great location, lovely modern rooms. Unfortunately we woke to no water so unable to shower or even flush toilets but that was out of their control as construction outside had severed water pipe for whole street! They gave us free parking to apologise. We’d definitely return"

"For the price we paid, we expected a much better hotel. The location isn’t particularly appealing, and upon arrival we were told not to park our car near the hotel because of the risk of theft. That’s hardly the kind of welcome you want to hear, especially when traveling with children. The rooms are also very outdated and in need of renovation. Overall, the experience did not justify the price we paid, and we left feeling disappointed."
