"This is a beautiful hotel with lovely grounds and outdoor seating. Very friendly welcome from reception on arrival. A big room and spacious bathroom with large walk in shower. "We received such a warm welcome at The Boars Head. It felt like everything in the room was really high spec. Loved that we had a stocked fridge (you had to pay for most items, though!) with free milk and a free dram each, too! A espresso machine with good choice of coffees and tea bags. Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. "Room very small for the price, bathroom floor in bad repair, window frames damp/mouldy, flaking paint work, floor uneven under foot. Raised drain covers outside our room, which were a trip hazard. Right on the main road lots of passing traffic noise, cobwebs in the dining area, would not recommend."
