"Perfect stay, but breakfast was poor☹️"

"Well appointed accommodation, good quality fittings and comfortable bed , annoying issue with toilet that did not flush , changed room new room had no crockery , TV was not working, changed batteries next day all ok. Simple housekeeping issues clearly not supervised. Easy to fix though , breakfast highly priced, found good breakfast nearby at almost 40 % less. Shop around"

"Room very small for the price, bathroom floor in bad repair, window frames damp/mouldy, flaking paint work, floor uneven under foot. Raised drain covers outside our room, which were a trip hazard. Right on the main road lots of passing traffic noise, cobwebs in the dining area, would not recommend."

"The property is situated near North Berwick and has beautiful gardens. The building itself is a bit tired. Our room was disappointing for the grade of hotel. Coffee facilities were basis (one packet of two pieces of shortbread to share!). The cooked breakfast was lovely but the continental selection was very poor compared to similar hotels and given that one of the main selling points of the hotel is the Chez Roux restaurant. "Gorgeous boutique hotel in the center of town. I loved the bathroom and it's huge claw tub. The breakfast was generous and tasty. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. Although the area did not get very hot during our stay (max was 70f), if you run hot at night this may be uncomfortable. We did have a fan in our room. The staff and locating were excellent. There's a very nice spa on site that we did not use."

"Away from the main city . Hotel location is quiet silent , lot of green farms behind the hotel.Hotel building is very old but well maintained . Hotel foods are very nice also the staff’s are fantastic and very helpful. They can improve cleaning in parking area and external stairs and inside corridors. Overall it’s a nice place to short stays"
