The location was ideal for the Portsmouth ferry, about a 15-minute walk, with a supermarket, Wetherspoons and plenty of places to eat nearby. The only minor drawback was the temporary breakfast room, which was a little cramped while the main room is being converted. We'd happily stay here again."

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the ships and Gunwharf Quay shops, cheap/free parking was another bonus. We would return to this hotel."

The hotel is directly across the street from the rail station and the bus station and about 100 yards from the main entrance to the dockyard. The owner was very nice and accommodating.
