"The live music was very loud and frequently went on until 11pm. I have to be up early to do medical camp so didn’t appreciate the late finish and the volume of the live music. I shall book a quieter room well away from the live music next time I visit "

"This resort is located on one of the best beaches in Watamu. The staff is fantastic. Janet accommodated our late check-out and went above and beyond when our AC wasn’t working. We will definitely be coming back"

"The hotel is just as pictured - gorgeous views from everywhere on the property. The staff were lovely - friendly, always wanting to help, etc. The room was very comfortable and close to everything. As we were both somewhat unwell when we arrived, we would have liked a few more basic options on the dinner menu as our appetites were not there and it was difficult to find simple food that we felt we could handle. Otherwise a perfect stay!"

"Lamu House is a lovely historic hotel right on the harbor front - top floor bedrooms facing the water are the best with cooling breezes. The staff could not be friendlier and the restaurant is tasty and popular. If you want an authentic experience of Lamu the town, this is the place . It is not a luxury resort type establishment like the ones out of town. "

"Absolutely amazing hotel , 3 large swim pools, massive very green territory , comfortable rooms, very clean and safe. I enjoyed my stay there ! Highly recommend!"

"I went as a single female traveller and I felt safe and well looked after. Upon checking in they allowed me to check in early and they also upgraded my room which I greatly appreciate. I came in low season but I still throughly enjoyed my stay. I will definitely make a trip back. "
