"Environment and room were clean. 2’things to note were the ants which I found slightly invasive. One could spray the floor of the external perimeter of the doors facing the pool and patio area with a pesticide before guests arrive to keep ants out. Also towels shed a lot. So an investment in higher quality towels for the rooms would be great. Outside of these 2 issues the stay was awesome."

"Superb stay from start to finish. Celine the manager was lovely. So helpful throughout my stay. The rest of the staff were great especially Millicent the chef and Alice the service staff. Always smiling and happy to help. Great food from the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very good kitchen area if you want to prepare meals yourself. Huge swimming pool that was well maintained. Quiet area but only a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Highly recommended. I'll be back for sure"

"It was better than our expectations. The apartment exceeded our expectations – comfortable beds (quite firm) and good pillows. There was AC in two of the rooms and fans in all three. There was no frying pan, but we simply asked the staff for one and they arranged it right away. The staff were very friendly and helpful – both the pool attendant, the reception staff, and the guards at the gate. The pool was nice and well maintained. There was also a restaurant, and the food was very good. We highly recommend the Swahili curry chicken! Breakfast was available for 700 KES. It was an à la carte breakfast, and we could simply tell them what we wanted. The laundry service also worked very well. The hotel is located about 5–10 minutes walk from the beach. There is also a large supermarket nearby. It costs around 200–300 KES to get there by tuk tuk. We highly recommend Lotfa to anyone who wants to travel to Diani Beach on a budget trip 💜"
