"This is a beautiful former monastery high up above Monterosso. You need to contact the hotel in advance to make a shuttle reservation and they will pick you up near the train station. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Most of the other guests were hikers from the trail between towns. We sat outside at sunset with a glass of wine, admiring the beautiful view. "This is truly an amazing property in the mountains above Levanto. How amazing to be above where birds fly and just hear them sing along with church bells. What a fun way to access this property via a monorail. This is a beautifully renovated farm house from way back with a touch of modern features. The whole staff was truly wonderful. I would highly recommend a stay here. "

The finishes were newer and clean and the place was very well appointed with a comfy bed, small kitchen and a spacious bath/vanity area. I would highly recommend staying here! "Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Could not be more convenient to the train and the waterfront. The hosts are very helpful and welcoming. Occasionally it could be noisy, as it’s on the hiking path, but it quiets down in the evening. It’s very small and there’s nowhere to hang wet coats/clothes after a rainy day, but hopefully most people enjoy it in good weather! "

"We had a major problem checking in due to a variety of circumstances and missed our first night there. People need to know that this apartment is booked through a rental agency. It’s also good to know that there a a number of steps to reach the apartment. Otherwise, a great place to stay in Vernazza!"

"Wonderful location with views. Perfect for a couple. Small but quaint and the view of the harbour cannot be beaten. Found this convenient to the village and would definitely use as a base again for Cinque Terre. There are a number of stairs which you should be aware of if that is a problem for you but otherwise we enjoyed.
