"Hotel 39 is a nice small scale hotel. Great location along the Montego Bay hip strip, close to restaurants, bars and public beaches. The fact that it is off a busy street may not be for everyone. Our room had a nice view of the ocean and a park The rooms are updated and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel has good private parking as well. My wife had her hair and makeup done at the spa before going to an event and she was very pleased with the service and the result. Hotel 39 exceeded our expectations and offers a great value for money."

"No hot water! Two remotes for the TV, without explanation. It is in the process of recovering from the hurricane last year and I’m sure it’s more than that. The staff was terrific! I felt terrible they had to work in such conditions."
