"1. No toiletries upon check in. You need to wait for slippers and toiletries.
2. Room needs refurbishment. Broken chair, old furniture, toilet got molds at the corner and sink basin also not properly cleaned.
3. Staff at the cafe made fuss when I wanted to leave and come back during breakfast buffet time. I was told ‘You cannot eat twice’. Very shocking indeed."

"I was disappointed to find that there were no water or amenities refills on my last day. As these are basic expectations for any hotel stay, I was surprised that they weren’t provided. I hope this can be addressed for future guests.
This keeps the feedback clear and constructive!
Frankly, this will be my last visit to Novotel."

"Beautiful room with high ceilings and a nice balcony for enjoying the street sights. The concierge upgraded us to one of their nicest rooms and we were highly impressed with the gesture. Bathroom was really clean. The only negative with all of these older hotels is the carpeting. It seems virtually impossible to keep it looking clean (hence why I always choose to travel with my own slippers in case none are provided). But the history and beauty of these historic buildings makes that part...

"There was a bit of a mix up when we arrived . I had booked a twin room but we were allocated a room with a king size bed. Had to wait for quite a while until it was sorted . I had asked for a room on a lower floor but unfortunately another misunderstanding occurred . We were given a room in the basement which I certainly didn’t request. There was no window as such , just a tiny patio which was open to the sky . The small roof covering and the floor was covered in bird droppings. It was very...
