"Good value for money. Whilst close to the Great Western Highway and train line didn’t really notice it. Walkable distance into Blackheath shops. Very comfortable bed. You won’t speak to any staff at all, self service and checkout through lock box.There is some basic self service breakfast if you want to eat in with cereal, juice and bread. "Beautiful historic old fashioned Australian Hotel, very reasonable and ideal room with en-suite for sharing with my son for a hiking trip to the Blue Mountains. Great wholesome food in the restaurant and plenty of options nearby for food."

"Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel."

"Front desk service for check in and out was terrific. Well done. The staff in the bar was ok but the manager serving the area was rude asking to confirm full name and room before serving. Furthermore, after signing the bill I was chased down the hall to again, confirm I had signed the bill. Simply, rude."

"Honestly a perfect stay, everything you need and a fantastic location. I am usually used to very luxurious properties so I was abit anxious before arriving however I wanted to stay longer than 2 nights by the end of our stay. I was there with my 1.5yr old and it was honestly perfect for what we needed, very convenient and enjoyable stay!"

"Adorable BnB-style property in the Blue Mountains! The staff were so friendly and the rooms comfortable and cozy (especially loved the soaking tub after a long day). It's an easy 10-minute walk to the train station, town, and nearby hiking trails. Breakfast was great, and the views from the lounge and restaurant were absolutely perfect. Loved the fun Christmas in July decorations they had up too — such a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here!"
