We checked in the hotel late (around mid-night) so I coud not give you a complete picture of the resort. Our room was on the second floor. The two sets of stairs were challenging not only to my 80 year old mom, but also the rest of my family carrying luggages. The room was spacious with adequate supplies but strangely enough all the door knobs were higher than normal--I do not believe it is an "Australia" thing because we lived 3-4 other hotels throughout this trip. But the rod that hung the towels in the bathroom was unusually low. I wondered whether there was a giant or a dwarf who used to live here or both. Anyway, it is just odd to see higher door knobs with lower towel rods in the same unit. I did take a short walk to the garden across from my building at the entrance of the resort the second morning before we headed to the blue mountain. It was a beautiful garden with a nice picnic area. I bet people enjoy the view of that garden at the bar when it is open.
