Hotels near Oswald Park Golf Course

"The property is kind of hard to figure out. About half is blocked with what look like kiddie fences around the pools. I only saw two or three other people there. The parking is very limited, about 8 spots. Most of the cars never moved in 4 days. If you can’t find a space, you’re screwed. Parking is severely limited in WM. When i got to my room i discovered the TV didn’t work and the safe was locked shut. I emailed the manager and got a reply later asking if i still needed help, as if i fixed the TV and safe myself. I never bothered responding. One of the few people i saw there said his TV had no sound. Everything is set up to avoid any contact with whoever works there. You get gate codes online and there is no formal check in. Your car is not registered for parking. Judging from the size and location next to the Drive, with 4 pools, the place should be packed. The location is the best. The reason i chose it. But, i think my next visit in Fort Lauderdale will be spent elsewhere."

"Room was used and nasty. Told the person at desk he came to see was I lying. Dirty water was in sink, bed had been slept in trash was on floor and shade was gone. It took him a long time to get us another room get to the room upstairs with my handicapped aunt the ice machines didn’t work only the one down stairs near the front room was not great but at this point it’s 3:30am we just want a few hours but they didn’t say sorry or accommodates us in any way I will never stay here again"

"The lady at front desk was nice. But we walked through the courtyard to get to elevator. Immediately overwhelmed with smell of weed. The people hanging out inside the courtyard and in parking lot were very shady. Made it room, and the door wouldn’t lock. Not to mention the room wasn’t clean and everything was plugged into a painted extension cord. We left. I am 100% sure we would’ve been robbed had we actually slept there."

"Well, this was a first in all of my decades of travel, tohave a hotel that does not use good cleaning practices inside of the room, no less do they care about keeping the food each morning such as eggs and sausage at any heated temp. The items referenced above were literally on the cold side on both mornings of my stay, not even warm, which would have still been problematic given that you are serving your guests these items every day. I only know this because I set out from my room toget to this food area as one of the first people each day and went directly to the eggs and sausage since that is what sounded really nice, but upon sitting right down after putting them on my plate, my first bites of each item was cold cold cold, not even warmed. Just disgusting! Maybe the staff that are preparing these items are okay with no standards in food preparation, but this is never okay with foods that can cause such harm just at room temperature warmth, no less when cold. Now, the room I paid so much for had rug areas torn upward between the entry to the room and where the bed was, so catching that regularly with my feet was not exciting. Just so disappointing!! I would recommend to anyone that has standards to steer clear of this hotel until they show that the guest actually matters."

"Very disappointing experience at B Ocean Resort. We stayed at the hotel for 10 days (Room 383), and unfortunately, the longer we stayed, the more issues we discovered. During our stay, a shirt was taken from our room. I reported it immediately, and was personally assured by the hotel manager, Jalicia Brooks, both in person and via email, that the issue would be handled within a few days. Since then, I have been completely ignored despite multiple follow-ups — which says a lot about how guest issues are actually handled here. The hotel also advertises parking, but “forgets” to mention that it costs $60 per day — with no reasonably priced alternatives nearby. This is something guests should absolutely be aware of in advance. As for the rooms, they are decent, but housekeeping was unreliable. On multiple occasions, our room was simply not cleaned, and we had to go out of our way to request basic service. Overall, this stay felt far below expectations. Between poor communication, lack of accountability, and hidden costs, I would not recommend this hotel."

"It was an ok room. It was not the cleanest room. However, I had to get thione because I was leaving one in another hotel that was even worse. There were roaches here but there were visible signs that they had sprayed. We seen more and more dead bugs everytime we returned to the room. There was no shower curtain. When we checked in there was mulch all over the floor. It was literally just a bed and shower that we needed. So it was just that. If you have any expectations at all I would not recommend it. They said breakfast was at 6 but we couldn't even access the lobby at 7 so."
