It was a fun experience in Osaka and we made a great decision in staying in Fairfield Marriott! The room we had was small but efficiently designed. Amenities are great, more laundry washer would be beneficial. Complimentary items are great too. We are glad to be booking with Marriott hotels in our vacations.

The room we had was spacious with a king bed and very clean. We loved the separate toilet and shower facilities. It was very quiet and close to shopping centres and station. The breakfast banquet was one of the best we had while travelling Japan. Staff were very helpful and the late checkout of 12 was a bonus. Would recommend.

Very nice - only downside was lack of communal space. They have a large dining area but after breakfast it's closed off unless you are a gold Marriott member or something so there's only half a dozen seats in the lobby.

If I had to suggest an improvement for Fairfield, it would be this: When a guest is staying multiple segments and leaves their luggage with the hotel, the staff should proactively bring the luggage to the guest's room, rather than waiting for the guest to arrive late and have to carry it themselves. Even the boutique hotel I stayed at on this trip demonstrated this thoughtful level of service for their guests.

Pros: Walking distance to Namba Stn and Dotonbori. 30min train to USJ. Clean. Bigger rooms for Japanese standards. Cons: No breakfast included. Only 2 washer dryers for such a large hotel. Long wait to use the laundry machines. No vending machine on site. But convenience stores are close by.
