Hotel Review: Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Amenities and Poor Maintenance
I booked this hotel solely because it advertised an indoor pool, which was a key amenity I was looking for. I even confirmed it was operational before finalizing my reservation. However, upon arrival, I was extremely disappointed to find out that the pool was not in service for the entirety of my four-day stay. This was never communicated to me before check-in or at any point during my visit, despite me raising the issue with the front desk. I received no explanation, update, or effort at resolution from the management staff.
Beyond that major issue, the hotel room itself was not up to standard. The door did not close properly, compromising both safety and comfort. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor, and the drain was clearly not functioning correctly, making it a hassle to use each day.
My trip to Florida was heavily impacted by this experience. The main reason I booked this property was for the indoor pool, and not having access to it made the entire stay feel like a waste. It’s frustrating to rely on advertised amenities only to be let down upon arrival. I would not recommend this hotel unless there are major improvements in communication, facility maintenance, and guest service.
