"We just stayed for 2 nights. Room was beautiful and clean. King size bed was super comfy while sheets were luxurious. Wine and cheese daily 4-5 was a nice touch w Barbara being the charcuterie hostess and she was so welcoming to all who attended. Breakfast was excellent with many options and had us full til dinner time! Location was great everything was nearby. We loved it and will be back!"

Their “library” offered wine and cheese with music in the background from a record player! The host who greeted us in the library was very personable and conversational. "The Emeline is located right in the heart of town but is very quiet. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The room was huge and had a comfortable sitting area in addition to the bedroom. The hotel is well managed and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. "

"This was my first time visiting Charleston, and I was impressed! Once I was off the plane, I noticed how beautiful and clean the airport was. I was driven to The Mills House by a very nice and knowledgeable gentleman, who gave me a brief history of Charleston. Once inside The Mills House, it was heavenly, thanks to the amazing staff.
