"Our room was clean and welcoming. We knew having stayed here before what to expect. The guy on reception was very friendly and helpful, supplying us with extra pillows. Our Jack Russell settled in quickly and there were grassy areas to walk her. Everything went well during our stay. The only thing I would suggest is more plugs in the room. "

"Could not fault my one night here. Lovely room, comfy bed, big tv, nice big shower and lots of hot water. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced, breakfast looked great but I had not enough time to stop and eat. This place is a great advert for staying in a country pub:-)"

"Historic building, somewhat remote from Farnham Common. Now an Indian restaurant with rooms. Our room was very good for the price, comfortable double bed with nice quality linens, ensuite bathroom was very clean with large shower. Easy access for guests and all rooms on the first floor. Front facing rooms can experience road noise but not a massive issue. Breakfast is not provided but rooms have tea and coffee facilities along with bottled water. Would definately use again without hesitation."

"My first impressions were very positive as the hotel is in a great location in Maidenhead and only a short walk to a variety of restaurants and eateries both chain and independent. The parking area is quite extensive allowing more than enough room for hotel and restaurant guests. There is a stylish reception area with friendly staff who checked me in early after confirming my room was ready. The room was artisticly decorated especially with the bathroom area. "We had booked a basic room as only there for 1 night but told on arrival there was no lift in that part of the building so we had to pay to upgrade so my husband could access a room. The room was dusty. The bed was ok but we've had better and the shower was over the bath which again made it very difficult for my husband. Definitely wouldn't use this hotel aga.i"

"Disappointed. Room shabby, No bedside cabinets, reading lights. Only one widow with broken blind, outlook another building separated only by a narrow gap full of rubbish. Only Asian food on offer. No over sink light. The staff were polite and pleasant but we will not be returning to this property."

"Room very cold, no staff on site overnight, no food available (breakfast or dinner) we only stayed one night instead of two. The email received prior to arriving stated that breakfast and dinner would be available, staff dismissive regarding no food situation."

"This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab."
