"This is a small hotel on a main street in Ocho Rios. The hotel is very clean. The rooms seem recently updated and the bathroom is nice. The air conditioning works almost too well and the hot water is hot which is a good thing. The Jamaican breakfast was good and we had dinner there one night and it was good. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Lavern’s Place was the perfect for my Ocho Rios trip. It’s super clean, safe, and located in a quiet area just a walk away from downtown and the beach. I went for a morning jog and felt totally at ease — even passed kids on their way to school. The AC worked great and the views from the room were a bonus, including the nice pool! The host was great too, everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!"

"The views from the Lodge's different balconies were amazing! There was private access to the ocean which was a good place to swim in However, the last two steps down into the water were very mossy. I want to encourage them to clean those steps though using concrete scrapers. I really liked the property though, it was beautiful and serene."

"The apartment was nothing like the pictures on the website. The Housekeeper said that she cleaned the apartment, however, there were cobwebs and dirt under the beds that I had to wipe and clean the apartment. We got spider bites everywhere. The air conditioner in the living room and upstairs bedroom are not working and both TV do not work. This was a horrible experience during a time when I went for a funeral. It was depressing and very disappointing"

"Gruesome dreadful property which needs gutting .. kitchen cupboard need ripping out and property needs a good update. DO NOT book this apartment .. we stayed only one night then fled…. Pictures do not depict the actual true state of the property and the managers could not care less … saw cockroaches.. cobwebs everywhere.. old broken furniture… spend your money elsewhere "

"I never got to stay at this property, although my credit card was billed to stay at this property. I was redirected to another motel (Sandcastle Resort) in the area due to no availability. The hotel I was redirected to was clearly not aware of my reservation or my presence. Nothing in the room was prepared for guest arrival. Spiders and cobwebs were in every common area, which shows no one did the basic cleaning and upkeep. There was no running water every day from 12am-2pm! I couldn't shower or...
