"This hotel has a great location! In a nice area of Tokyo, very close to the Gaemma subway station (Orange line). We were in 16th floor - great views! Rooms and hallways were very clean. However, be aware that they are very small (which is not unusual for Japan). Me and my husband were constantly rubbing elbows and in each others space. And absolutely no closet or drawer space. If you are traveling solo, it’s ok size. Overall, for staying in Tokyo, it’s a good price to quality/benefit ratio. "

"Book a stay at this hotel! We were thrilled we did as the rooms were a decent size, check in was easy, breakfast was convenient and good (both Japanese and Western options), very clean, very quiet and most importantly the location was amazing! It is connected to the Shibuya train station so we could access any part of Tokyo very easily! Also walking distance to lots of dinning options and Shibuya crossing, but far enough away that it is quiet! I would 100% recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again! After staying at 4 different hotels during our Japan trip (including another in Tokyo), this was the best hotel overall! "

"Comfy sheets, nice onsen with relaxing projections on the wall, hotel is located in a bit of a darker back alley, which might sound shady, but its actually nice to be able to escape busy Shibuya for a moment"

"This hotel was excellent. There was always a staff member on site who spoke English, and they were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were updated and clean. We were worried about space but found the rooms to be more spacious than expected. The water pressure of the showers was AMAZING. The onsite coffee shop and bar were wonderful. The hotel was about a 10min walk from the shibuya station but very close the shibuya scramble. We were also very close to a park which was very lively and made for a great walk in and out of the hotel. We took a taxi one night from Shinjuku and only paid about $20 for the fare. Overall it was extremely well located and very clean. "

"Very clean. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and spoke very good English! Convenience store attached to the hotel was also very nice! Nice view of the stadium from the lobby!"

"Shibuya is great for eating - any kind of cuisine and any price point. Good roof top bars nearby. The Excel is right across the street from major train and subway lines so transportation is fine. The hotel is reasonably appointed, and the staff very accomodating. We have been staying here every year for 10 years or more"
