"I was very disappointed to find that the picture they gave us of the room was not of the room we stayed in. This was particularly bad as the person sharing the room with me was autistic and so when expectations did not match reality, they had a melt down. Usually turning on the television can help distract her, but when I went to turn it on the screen was cracked and you couldn't see any picture. When I brought this to the attention of the person at the reception, instead of offering to get me a replacement, they just smiled and stated it must have been a previous guest who broke it. It felt not only was i hoodwinked by the advertised room quality by these people, but then given poor service on top of that. Avoid if you can."

"Great place to stay even if you're not a golfer! Lovely grounds with great views. The room was perfectly clean, sizable and well equipped. Food was very good and the dinning room overlooks the course and further afield. Staff were extremely welcoming, professional and very friendly."

"Needed a stopover to pick up from airport. Chose this place due to low cost but this did not mean low quality. The room was great, nice swimming pool for a quick dip. Had a drink in the bar and the buffet carvery was great and inexpensive. Took about 5 mins to drive to North Terminal carpark. Will definitely use this hotel again if we need to be at Gatwick early."

"Staff and service were 1st class. Breakfast was a bit of a let down .... poached eggs were over done and the lack of gluten free items incl pastries and sausage for the full english. Spa area was excellent. "

"Very good for us as we were attending a convention nearby. Happy to give a 4/5, would have been perfect if the bathroom railing wasn't broken off already, and the TV had almost no options for us, as we would need access to a Netflix or whatever account you need for it. Live TV was non existent, believe me, we tried! There were a couple of free channels to watch, but mostly true crime stuff or judge Judy, or the cheesy older films. We found a few options thankfully, but it wasn't the end of the world. :) Had a bit of everything else other than that, fridge, microwave, utensils, etc so you can cook, and storage under the beds for luggage was a plus. Staff were helpful with my queries over the phone as well. Definitely will try this place again if we're in the area. Thanks again for all your help!"
