"The hotel was totally unique. Our room was excellent with all the mod cons one would expect to see in a hotel room. The communal areas were very inviting. The breakfast was very good offering a bit of everything. All the staff we had dealings with were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is situated in a prime position right by the cathedral. The castle, museum, shopping and restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Room nice size & clean. But from about 6am, we could hear bassy music presuming from the gym next door. Outside of property was a mess, the bin was over flowing & cigerette buts all over. Not a welcoming sight. The disabled spot was taken by someone without/not displaying blue badge"

"Lovely hotel with great riverside views. Extensive menu for breakfast & dinner, good quality food. Room was very clean & well firnished. All staff friendly and helpful. Free parking. Our room had a balcony which was great but for the extra cost would have expected more comfortable furniture also decking with smaller gaps so the chairs dont fall through"
