"We only stayed one night. We chose Posado Río Celeste La Amistad to swim in the blue Rio Celeste River on their property. "My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. "Really beautiful place and kind staff! We got a free room upgrade when we arrived and could hear the howler monkeys outside. They offer included breakfast at a restaurant nearby with free transportation there. Some of the best sleep I’ve got in a long time with the rain and bird noises :)"

"Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning.
