"We arrived early at the property and were able to use our room before 2pm...the staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. The room itself was very comfortable and clean with a lovely en suite...it was perfect for our overnight stay and an easy walking distance from Cardiff city centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back again"

"The young international staff is delightful. I stayed a week at The Washington and got to know them. I am sorry I didn't learn all their names, but I do remember Sumaya, Kassa (?), Kate, Katie, Rhiarre (?). "

"The staff were especially kind and very helpful for anything we needed! We stayed in the camper on top of their roof. It was a fun and easily accessible place and we would recommend it to everyone! The breakfast was very good and freshly made!"

"Beautiful grand suite. The staff were top class, always available with a smile. Quiet area, just a short walk away from the city centre and train station. Housekeeping didn’t change used cups and glasses. Bit of a trouble opening the old doors out to the garden. Loved it and would love to stay again!"

"The person who greeted us (I think James?) was very welcoming and checked us in quickly. Room felt fresh and had some cool old features. The shower and bed were fantastic. We had a really good pizza and a pint for about £14 each in the lovely gardens (they even put vegan cheese on for me). The breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients. All in all it was a great stay and good value for money. We hope to see you again post-festival in 2027, thank you for having us!"

"Lovely B&B on the beach front near shops and restaurants. Great hosts who were ready to ensure that everything needed was available to make guests’ visit a success. It was good to have free parking provided and an effective fan as the weather was very hot, although the room was already cooled by opened windows before my arrival, a thoughtful touch, which was much appreciated.
