"Room was updated and very clean. My 7 year old kept saying how good it was. With that said, the hotel is old, and might appear sketchy to some from the outside. I gave it a chance, being that it was 3-4x cheaper than things available in College Station and we literally only needed a place to sleep for 8 hours. "Breakfast was a major letdown, everything including coffee wasn’t being restocked in a timely manner. Guests had to repeatedly knock the kitchen door for food items, even then they didn’t materialize. The room walls had stains on them and elevators had a bad odor. They charged 3 star prices for what wouldn’t even pass for a 1-2 star experience. I think being next to freeway allows them to get away with it. This experience has turned me off this hotel chain."
