"The staff was amazing, I forgot to ask the name of our specific help but we couldn’t stop talking about her the entire trip. She was amazing. Please if anything, give her a mountain of praise from us. She made the entire stay amazing, she was incredibly attentive, extremely cordial and very kind.
11/10 stars just for her and I will be staying here again. "

"Large comfortable room. Helpful staff. Good value for Hakone. Hotel is dated and needs a renovation but very clean and everything in room was in good working order. A bit removed from nearby town of Gora leaving either a 15-20 minute mountain walk or a local bus. Walk is downhill to town but a relatively challenging uphill walk back to hotel. Didn’t try restaurant at hotel. Had a room package only and strangely they offered no information on menu or pricing for their restaurant. "
