"The hotel was very convenient- walkable to the ferry system as well as excellent restaurants and museums in Heraklion. The breakfast was lovely and rooms and common areas beautiful. "Great location in central Heraklion. Room was large but the shower and sink in our room were located in the middle of the room (not a separate bathroom; the toilet is a WC in a separate room). "The Atrion hotel is modern, well kept, and comfortable. Our room had a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast buffet is ample and tasty. It is very convenient to many neighborhood restaurants, pharmacies, shopping, and an excellent drop-off laundry. We easily walked to the Archaeology Museum and the public bus to Knossos. The immediate surroundings are in poor repair with uneven or non existent sidewalks so that the first block of any walk requires close attention."
