"Good location. Clean room. Outdated fan heater was too loud to hear the TV. Bathroom fan was also very loud The movie we selected on TV stopped halfway through. Couldn't get it going again"

"Pretty tired and probably doesn’t reflect the star rating it has, one spa pool way too hot (42deg) and the other way too cold (34 deg) the guy took the temp while we were there but considering they’re one of the main features not ideal. Pool was lovely and very warm easy to swim in in winter. Rooms definitely need an upgrade"

"Unacceptable the whole premises needs an up grade and is stuck in the past I' was born and bred in Tokoroa and have been away for 20+ years, only came back for a tangi was so disappointing to see the Mayfair motel so run down, it used to be a beautiful motel back in the days what's happened ??? Definitely will not be recommending until upgrades are sorted."

"Could not reccoment Hana Lodge more, the staff are amazing, so friendly, the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, charming, unique the artwork is beautiful and quirky as are the sculptures around the property. Breakfast is included everyday and the food is beautiful compliments to the chef and to everyone who we interacted with during our stay ❤️"

"The property was cozy, the staff was helpful, and accommodating. The rooms and areas were very cleaned and maintained well. Would love to stay here again. We enjoyed the lakeside hot tub as well that was very clean although the light there looks like it needs to be replaced. Would be a great spot for large groups as well."
