Very easy check-in and checkout. Free laundry services and convenient location. However, the facilities were very dated and in desperate need of TLC. Carpet next to the bathroom was damp with black mould all around the shower.

Great facilities and location but no staff on site

Fabulous little apartment. Plenty of space. Kitchenette with sink, bar fridge, reasonable freezer space, microwave, hot plates. Table and chairs, sofa. Very comfortable. Good shower. Heated towel rail. Outdoor table and chairs and a spa in private rear courtyard. No staff on site. We had no problem with access via code sent on the day. Making contact prior to arrival was difficult. My request was accepted but I didn't get any confirmation of that so wasn't clear. Walking distance to main shops

The rooms were lovely and modern, the outside courtyard and spa pool were awesome. The whole whānau spent a lot of time in the spa pool. Very easy check in with key codes, welcoming friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely !! an excellent property for price just like new! Beds very comfortable and facilities are great! There is a washing area free and washing powder supplied free! . Nice white sheets and soft towels which you don’t always get. Thoroughly recommend this place and owners were really nice 😊 10/10

Had everything we needed for our stay. The ensuite in the main bedroom was a nice surprise and the hot tub would've been great if the weather were nicer. Check-in was easy. Ample heating.

Underrated hidden gem

Nice refurbished rooms, new paint, carpets, bathrooms etc. All new. Nice area outside, quite large with outdoor spa. Lots of space for small family. This is a little gem and would stay again.

The most part that I want are : - We got ensuite in our room. Extra toilet and shower room is very convenient for 5 of us. - There is washing machine with powder in our unit, free to use of course. - There is drying machine outside the unit and is free to use. - The housekeeper is very friendly and accommodating. - Property is clean and smells clean. - We got it cheap. - The spa pool is big and my kids enjoyed it.

This little motel was good. It was clean and had parking right out front of the door. It’s a small place and did the trick for us. The internet could be improved a great deal. The TV was affected during the rain shower. Heating worked well. Comfortable stay.

It was such a nice place to stay for a few days only downside was the parking issues on our last-night someone took our park & then threw everyone else off, & just maybe provide guests with couple more towels if they staying over 3 nights :) & just wifi didn't work correctly for us or the tv but good for us to spend quality time together & get kids off devices def stay again a

Very nice remodel of an older motel. Room was clean and modernly fashioned; bathroom was large and modern, shower was small, but very nice; Lots of seating options in the room; kitchen was well appointed with anything you may need. Easy walking to downtown area and town park. I would definitely stay here again and I do highly recommend it. This property is a neighborhood. Our only complaint was the neighbors behind the property partied all weekend, all hours. I just wish they had invited us over 😏

Nobody at the reception in the afternoon. We didn't know which was our room. But, caretaker family at the site taught me the room. The room & equipment was comfortable. It was close to the city center, maybe possible to walk there .

Great patio area

This motel is in excellent condition though the appliances seem cheap, but they all worked. Beds were very comfortable. A bit of traffic noise as we were close to a major road. Was weird that there was no one in the "office" to check you in, and no one came into our room in the 6 nights that we were there, so that's great if you want privacy. We did not put out the "make up my room" card, but still would have expected that they would check in with us half way through our stay. I would probably stay there again. Did not use the spa pool, but the outdoor private patio was great.

Staff nice and kind. However, found a toenail in the bed in bedroom. Sock found under the same bed, did not belong to us. Ants on bathroom floor. Beautiful kitchen & modern look throughout. Cleanliness was very poor. Would not stay there again for the price we paid.

We booked this unit on the day of arrival during Matariki weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at all the features which made our stay really comfortable and easy. The unit was very clean and modern. Beds were very comfy and linen, towels and toiletries were all clean and readily available. Awesome having a surprise ensuite in the front room as an addition to the full bathroom. Great for our family of 5. Lovely front room and awesome options on TV, free wifi and comfort furniture. Easy check in without staff needed. All info was provided by Expedia and easy to access the room via keypad and a spare access card that was hanging inside. The unit was warm and there were lots of blankets and a heater which we used being the middle of winter. It even had a washing machine which we didn’t use but could have - as there was a dryer available next to the unit for guests to use free of charge. Well stocked and handy kitchen and good sized fridge freezer. The greatest tick box for me was the family sized spa which all four of our family happily lounged in and enjoyed. Great to be super close to New World and a few minutes drive from town and amenities making it such a handy location to stay. Excellent value for money. We were in unit 6 in the back corner a which suited us perfectly. Awesome stay and very pleased with everything. We will be back again!

The motel is in a good location, in close proximity to the town centre. It has been recently renovated and is comfortable enough. However, there are a few finishing touches that could be done to make the place nicer - such as a grate on the shower drain, handle on the bathroom door, a door to separate the second bedroom and providing us with a dish cloth and tea towel (which were probably omitted by accident). There is also no reception so difficult to speak directly to someone about any issues. Despite this, check in was very easy via a code to unlock the door sent via email on the day of arrival.
