"Fantastic, couldn’t have been more accommodating, stayed here as was competing in Scottish half marathon, house just across the road from finish line!! Also bus outside the house to head directly to Edinburgh where we enjoyed the Fringe festival. Alice went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic weekend, highly recommend."

"On arrival I spoke with the Owner as on previous occasions we have been in a room with no heating in the middle of winter and on another occasion, no hot water for showering when we stayed for two nights, despite complaining about the fact we had no water. On this occasion we did have heating and the shower was warm but not hot. There does seem to be a lack of staff with one member of staff having everything to do front of house i.e taking food orders, serving the bar, checking customers in...

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."
