I stayed at this hotel one night because my flight had been canceled. It was close to the airport, offered a complimentary shuttle, and the rate was more affordable than the Marriott. The listing does not tell you that you have to call the hotel for the shuttle, so make sure you do. It arrived within 15 minutes and after a 5 minute ride or so, we pulled up to the hotel. My first impression was to recoil at the coldness of the bullet proof glass in the lobby and unfriendliness of the man behind it- it was not a good first impression. I got up to the room and, although it was a tight space, the interior was updated, the appliances fresh, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The view outside the window was bleak so I ordered in. The ding of the nearby elevator was mildly annoying, but I took comfort in seeing fellow airline travelers in a similar predicament. The night passed pleasantly and I was greeted by the front desk agent in the morning and offered coffee in the lounge, although I saw no sign of the to-go breakfast bags offered in the listing. The shuttle runs every half hour in the morning and I had no issue getting to my terminal. All in all, it was a good experience and I do recommend the Avion Inn.
