I am going to stick with the pro/con review style, but I will start by saying that I will NOT stay at this hotel again.
Pro (only 1):
Location - This hotel is located in a great location. The two major plans I had while in New Orleans were to see the basketball game and visit the WWII Museum. The Smoothie King Center and the WWII Museum were both just a 20 minute walk from the hotel. It only took a few minutes to walk to Canal street and around 5-7 minutes to get to Bourbon street. Cafe Du Monde was about a 20 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Cons:
Staff interactions: While every interaction with hotel staff was not terrible, most of them were. My first morning of my vacation (after driving in the previous day) started at 5:20 AM with a call from the front desk saying that there was a noise complaint about my room. My son and I were both sound asleep until that phone call woke us up. I still don't know what the deal was with that, but it ruined my day. I can't go back to sleep once someone wakes me up. I was so exhausted for everything that day. I felt like I was going through the motions, instead of enjoying the experiences in New Orleans. When the staff member called that morning, and I was clearly half asleep, he was not apologetic at all. Another unacceptable interaction was when I tried to ask for my room to be cleaned. I asked the person at the front desk (I believe his name was James) if he could give me a time that they were co
