Parking on the street was interesting, but didn’t have any issues. Loved the interior and our room. The private bathroom was nice and everything was clean. Our air conditioning worked great for our needs. Only met the housekeeper once, but I liked her very much.

Beautiful place to stay for travelers looking for traditional and quiet New Orleans home. Very historical spacious and clean. Property looked almost identical to photos.Staff provided clear instructions on building and room entrance all amenities were provided. Good for visitors looking for quiet residential place within 10-20 mins walking distance from activities and restaurants and did not disappoint

Mellisa is amazing she made us feel like we where family,cool house old Nola feeling wish we could have stayed longer just a pre cruise night stay. CLose enough to walk to cruise port with luggage it took us 15 minutes

For the classy room (down stairs) the private bathroom is in the hallway (not in the room). Besides that being a little awkward, the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of closet space, mini fridge in the room and the curtains definitely kept it nice, dark and cool in the morning!

I had a wonderful time! This is a hidden oasis in a loud rambunctious city. For an introvert like me it was a perfect spot to recharge away from the exuberance of the city. Read the description carefully! The only two things I will add for future guests is to bring your own water. I do not recommend drinking New Orleans water. I was able to get big gallon jugs at Rouses Market for around $2. Second, be aware that this is an old house with old pipes, so please be patient with the shower. I think two of us were trying to take a shower at the same time, and I got cold water.

The room was clean yet compact, filled with a king bed. Unfortunately, the window curtained with the air conditioner outlet, to a .The house is lovely. I did not bother with coffee or tea as was unexpected because no milk or cream provided. There was no staff to be seen.

This hotel consists of 3 rooms in a 19th century house in the Garden District. The room (and it looked like the entire house)has recently been remodeled. Care was taken to keep the reno true to the original style of the house. The room was exceptionally clean, but small. The bathroom was very small--cruise ship lower cabin small, but everything worked. The vanity sink had an excellent lighted make-up mirror. The stairway to the rooms was long and steep. If you are physically challenged, this is probably not the place for you. There is some sort of convoluted check-in procedure. There is technically no one there to check you in. Supposedly they sent out an e-mail with the particulars, but we never got it. After a phone call and some text messaging, a housekeeper finally came to the door and let us in. You have to park on the street. The neighborhood is not one of New Orleans best. The street outside is littered with trash and garbage bins. The nearby houses are a bit run-down.

Great for the price , the place is very beautiful and more than feeling like a hotel it feels like you are staying in a traditional colonial house . It's also very easy to get around from there to other places in the city .

Pros: Charming, clean, and well-kept property in a great location. Cons: Privacy is an issue. The downstairs room is directly connected to the caretaker’s room, and the wall/door is so thin it feels like they’re in the room with you — you can hear every word, cough, and movement.
