Lots of shopping in the area, several restaurants and coffee shops within a mile or two. Gonzales was a stopping point for us in route to Florida and it was perfect for that. Front desk was understaffed, but the staff working was great.

There was an annoying noise that kept us up 4 hours, leaving us with 3 hours to rest. The staff was EXCEPTIONALLY pleasant, making checking in and out, a breeze. Water pressure was strong and it enjoyably hot. Gave it a 3 because the noise was unbearable.
