I attend the pink tie party annually which has been held at the union station for the last few years so this hotel was perfect as it is within walking distance. The hotel has a great atmosphere and staff were lovely. They have a in house pub which was great if you like to have a social life without going far. Just don’t serve the Guinness cold please! "We had a 2-bedroom 2 bath apartment that was fully furnished and had everything that you would need and may not need. The place was very clean and the building was quiet. They did provide earplugs for the night because the sounds of the city did come through on occasion. The staff was very personable as well. Teh beds were very comfortable. Will consider a Mint House at other locations in the future."

"I have been disappointed with my past several hotel stays at various other "luxury" properties (think Ritz Carlton, Bellagio, Aria). "Great choice for a short stay and if you're on a budget. My room was on the 2nd floor and facing H Street, so the only drawback was that the street noise was a bit loud. However, overall I really liked my room (it was so cute) and the location was great. Very walkable to eateries, museums, etc. I'd definitely stay there again!"

"Great hotel. Nice breakfast in the morning. I took away one star because we arrived at 1:30 and they would not let us check into our room until 4pm. They said our room was available and we could check in now for $50! They would waive the fee for gold honors members. Unfortunately I’m just a regular honors member. In past experience most hotels let you check in early if your room is ready and without a fee. Disappointing that they wanted to squeeze an extra $50 out of me!"
