I had a great experience staying at this hotel over the Fourth of July. The location was excellent—just a short walk from the metro, and close to plenty of fast food options, CVS, and Walgreens. It made getting to all the major government buildings, museums, and even the ballpark super convenient.
The hotel itself was clean and easily accessible. Check-in at the front desk was quick and smooth, and all of the staff—from the hotel team to the coffee shop downstairs—were friendly and helpful. The coffee shop, Baker’s Daughter, was a real bonus. It had a great variety of breakfast options and quick bites, perfect for fueling up before or after a day of exploring.
Our room had a fridge and we received bottled water daily, which was a thoughtful touch. There was even a record player in the room—such a unique and fun feature!
My only minor complaints: there’s no ice machine, and the lobby could get a little crowded due to people heading to the rooftop bar. But these were small issues compared to the overall positive experience.
I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Washington, DC!
