"The room was semi clean, but the bathroom was terribly dirty. I looked at 3 different rooms before settling on the one with the least dirty bathroom...but even that one was dirty. The staff were very good about asking some very rowdy, loud guests next door to leave. They were up the entire night blaring the TV and cranking up head thumping music. It was the morning crew that finally asked them to leave at 7:30 am. There was a power outage the next night for several hours (4:30 am to about 8:00 am). It was pitch black everywhere... This was my 3rd Wyndham hotel during my travels for this particular trip, and it was better maintained and the staff much friendlier than the 1st two hotels along my route, however, all 3 Wyndham's had the gross bathrooms. They are very unsanitary and I don't think proper cleaning products are being used to sanitize them. Really sad because Wyndham's used to be much higher caliber than what I experienced this trip."

"This hotel checked all of our boxes! The breakfast was great, the pool and hot tub were excellent, the room was nice, the hotel even had pool and beach toys that you could use. The only downfall was the splash pad was too cold for my kids to use and there was one front desk staff who came off as rude. All of the other staff were great though! I'm not letting that effect my review on this property because overall it was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Destin!"

" Several issues,#1 the hotel has smelly old carpet,#2 moldy ceiling tiles#3 Grout in bathroom gross and dirty!,#4 bed not comfortable lumpy #5 the toilet over flowed on us last flush broken!! #6 continental breakfast not good! Over all needs alot of work!Disappointed!"

"This property is in excellent shape and very well maintained. Gulf view rooms deliver as promised and walk to the beach through the pool area is easy to navigate. Only down side to this property outside of its control is that there is a tourist helicopter across the street that takes off every half hour. Fun to see at it first, but rather noisy and distracting. Also, they book wedding and proms here with music going till 10pm."

"Rooms were clean, breakfast was pretty okay. The only thing I didn’t like is that the hot tubs jets didn’t work and it wasn’t very warm. "

"One staff member was not friendly or pleasant. Our room was supposed to be cleaned on Sunday, 4/26, but it was never cleaned, so we went to mention this to the front desk. We were met with an argument/debate. Instead of saying, we will send somebody up to clean your room shortly we were met with an argument and accusations that we must have had the do not disturb sign on, which wasn't the case and she stated this before we even had giving her our room number. Second, we asked for towels as our room has not been cleaned and we no longer have any more clean towels and began to be interrogated on where we are going. I come to this hotel every time I stay in Destin and have never had such a rude experience. Our room was eventually cleaned, but they did not clean the shower or remove the old, dirty towels from the bathroom. This might be my last year coming to the Tru By Hilton. "
