The best part of the stay was the nearness to the beach. There were roaches in the bathtub. The floors were covered in sand. When we got to the inn no one was in the office. It was locked up with no employees to be found. A random man noticed me looking in the office and directed me to the hotel next door to get checked in. I went back and looked to see if any instructions had been sent that referred to the hotel next door, there were none. To get any amenities you had to go to the hotel next door. The wifi was iffy. Parking wasn't the best either. The staff in the office of the hotel next door were helpful and friendly.

Great location & view, room was clean, beds were comfortable. Does need some updating. Bathroom needs a little tlc, rust in the bathtub. Staff was awesome, very friendly. Were always asking if we needed anything, even helped with the luggage. Will definitely stay again!

For the price, this beachfront property is a really good deal. Yes, the room is outdated, but the bed was clean, and we had no issues with bedbugs or cleanliness at all. Everything in the room was working properly. We stayed with our cat, and there were no extra pet deposits, which we really appreciated. Free parking was another big plus. The staff was friendly, always available, and responded quickly to any questions we had. The location is great, close to the boardwalk and the second pier. Overall, we were happy with our stay. Thank you!

I just love the property. You can walk right onto the boardwalk. There is pool access and hotub access. The laundry is completely reasonable. They have efficiency hotel rooms that are very reasonable and nice, and some efficiencies with Oceanviews. It's really a hidden treasure.

It's a older hotel, but the property was pretty clean. Great ocean view, I don't swim but the pool was closed and the water in there was dirty so for those who want to utilize the pool just call ahead to see whether it's open or not. The property next door management told me put those who want to utilize the pool and jacuzzi they could use theirs. The bathroom had plenty of towels the only downsize is it needed grab bars around the tub/shower. The water was 'extremely hot' so be careful.

The staff at the Admiral Inn were very friendly, and overall we appreciated the nice view from our room. However, there were several issues that kept me from rating the property higher. The room and property are definitely outdated, although I think some fairly minor updates could make a big difference. One of the biggest inconveniences was that there were no accessible electrical outlets beside the bed. I actually had to go out and buy a drop cord just so I could charge my phone near the bed. There was also only one light in the sleeping area, and it was extremely dim, making the room feel even darker at night. The sliding glass door leading to the balcony was also very difficult to open and appeared to be rigged to lock using a metal rod rather than having a properly functioning lock. That definitely needs some attention. The biggest issue for our family, though, was the noise at night. Guests were allowed to party and play very loud music until around midnight. I understand that people are on vacation and want to enjoy themselves, but there should still be reasonable quiet hours so families and other guests can sleep. The noise level that late at night did not go over well with our family and really affected our overall experience. There are definitely some positives here—the staff was friendly and the view was nice—but with better enforcement of quiet hours and a few basic room upgrades and repairs, this property could be much better. I would have rated it higher othe

The staff was super nice but was located on the loudest side of town possible. The air conditioner wasn’t the coldest and had gaps between the unit and wall allowing to see outside and hot air in. The commode sat to the floor like it belonged in a kindergarten class, the br wasn’t the cleanest not because it wasn’t clean but because it was old and worn out leaving staines to be visible. Yea one gets what they paid for in cheapness so don’t expect a room made for a king. But again staff was nice.
