"Lovely quirky minimalist hotel close to Alfama district and Praça do Comércio. Staff friendly, polite and helpful. Room with a fabulous view of the city. No balcony as we were on the top floor but not something we really missed. Breakfast was plentiful and there were choices to add to the buffet. Great experience we’d recommend it. The air conditioning was a god send as the temperatures didn’t fall below mid 30’s whilst we were there. The only thing to be aware of is that it’s on a hill whichever way you walk."

"We’ve stayed multiple times and loved it every time - until our most recent stay when jewelry went missing from the room. A call to the front desk and within 10 minutes jewelry was returned and staff claimed it was found in the garbage. Not sure how they scoured an entire hotels garbage from the day and found it, returned it 10 mins later. Something doesn’t line up. Recommend to keep your valuables with you as I’m sorry to say I wouldn’t trust the staff"

"This hotel is located in the center of the attractions with walking distance to subway and all shops and restaurants. It can be noisy as the rooms are not sound proof and you can hear people talking and partying in the street. The hotel does not have much amenities, so be prepared. The only thing we got was 2 shampoos and that is it. No iron, toothpaste, toothbrush, hand soap! They manually lock the main entrance door at midnight, so if you wanna return back to hotel you will have to ring a bell and wait gor someone to wake up and come open the door for you. The room did not have a safe box either. So dont leave your valuables in the room. Wifi was good and high speed."

"Quaint, large hotel with a blend of old and new. Lobby desk is unique. Breakfast room very large to accommodate the number of guests. Breakfast options are great. Full assortment of everything. Breads off to right in separate area. I’ve decided one needs the Deluxe Standard room. We needed to be moved due to plumbing issues and the room was overlooking the square with a balcony. Updated floor and bathroom were better. Bed comfy. Not convenient to hop on off bus which is a must to see Lisbon. Taxi is $7 - 10 euro to Stop one by 9 am, allow 15 minutes. Be prepared for hills."
