Nest Hotel Hiroshima Hatchobori
10/10 Excellent
"The room was clean.
We had a twin corner room.
It was large enough to get our packing cubes out & store the suitcases next to the cabinet. Better lay out than some other hotels we have stayed in. Thankyou for having hooks to hang things on.
The beds were comfortable.
I would like to have a top sheet separate to the duvet as I like fresh air rather than aircon but the duvet was too hot.
It was great having the laundry.
The staff were nice & smiley.
Great location to walk to Peace Park or shopping streets or dinner options."
"The room was clean and well-maintained, but unfortunately, the bed was firm and a little uncomfortable. As someone with a slightly larger build, I found that the approximately 2-inch foam mattress provided very little cushioning or support. I actually had to arrange all the pillows on the bed to create enough cushioning to sleep comfortably.
This is the main reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. During this same trip, I stayed at another APA Hotel in Osaka and had a wonderful experience without any issues with the bed.
Overall, the stay was good, but I wish the mattress had been more comfortable, especially after long days of walking and exploring Hiroshima."
"Clean room. But too small for a double bed. My husband had to crawl over me to get out of bed or to go to the washroom.
Close to transportation and restaurants.
Hotel was good about storing luggage prior to check in time."
"We loved this hotel!
The buffet breakfast was quite extravagant - there were almost too many options!
The hotel has a public bath/sento. It is not tattoo friendly, though I had no issues using it with a tattoo cover. It was just one bath, but it was relaxing.
The room was well layed out and the bathroom was a decent size.
There was a bit of a strange smell in the lobby and common areas when we first arrived, but it disappeared by the next day and must have been a weird fluke occurrence. It didn't bother us any other day. We assume it was maintenance.
It's just a short walk from a tram station and relatively close to the Peace Memorial Park.
Would definitely recommend this place!"
