The BnB is tastefully appointed - understated and comfortable - in keeping with its location in central Barcelona. Friends of ours stayed here a few years ago and give Circa 1905 rave reviews. "Check-in was a breeze. We arrived about 10am from a 15 night cruise. Although we couldn’t get into our rooms right away, they did store the luggage for us. This allowed us to leisurely shop/window shop/grab a bite to eat. They called within 2-3 hours to let us know our rooms were ready. Excellent location. Spacious rooms. "Very much enjoyed our stay. 4 star rating, there was a couple of disappointments. No bellman upon arrival so we had to struggle with our luggage. We couldn’t get into our room until 6 pm so we had a round or two of drinks in the rooftop restaurant. Hotel comp us one round which was appreciated. Rooms are beautiful. "The staff was amazing and treated me like family. After returning from a late night out with an injured knee, they immediately noticed I was struggling to walk and got me a bag of ice and medicine. I wasn’t sure if I was at a hospital or a hotel! I’ll absolutely be staying here again and can't wait to see the staff again. Cheers!"

"Very nice hotel. It’s in the excellent location for the 1st time visiting Barcelona. Staffs were very nice and helpful. They have happy hours 7-8pm every day.The only complaint is the bathroom smelt like urine. It’s pretty common problems in Europe hotels. Will come back to this hotel if we are back."

"The hotel has a perfect location. The rooms are perfect including bathroom. Curtains have a great blackout. The staff is absolutely the best. Everyone from reception, breakfast, housekeeping. Kitchen and restaurant staff Oscar,Kas, Ghis, Ramona and Axel, amazing staff. Reception Aitor, Ana, Mario, Ivan, Javi, Ester, Raul, Althea. Couldn’t have been in a better place after a surgery by myself. They made me feel at home. Highly recommended!!!!"
