"It was interesting staying in a Japanese house. Really enjoyed that. However the location was not practical sunce we had to taxi to Gion. I was unable to enjoy the beautiful bath since the water was only lukewarm and I tried many times and yes, I pressed the water red button as instructed"

"We stayed for 2 nights. Hotel is walking distance from the train station which is convenient. You are able to rent a bike for free! So much fun. Great amenities. Staff are so kind, nice and very helpful. They also speak English. There is Lawson next to the hotel so you can easily walk over there to buy snacks and drinks. We enjoyed it and highly recommend it! "Great location, great staff, decent sized room. Easy check-in/out process. We were welcomed with a welcome drink. We loved the live music from the local musicians. They really did a great job creating a resort-relax-vibe in a busy city. They provided laundry machines for guests to use with a purchase of ¥100 laundry pod.
The only thing I see into oemnt on is the smoking area infront of the entrance to the amenities. The smoke smell gets draw into the lobby and the massage chair area, making it very unpleasant to stay. "
"The hotel is superb la!!!
1. Parking very convenient next door
2. Location 100/100 to be next to Kyoto Tower, rented our Kimono there and walkable to beautiful temple and places!
3. The onsen is good too, I particularly like the one with ice neck rest, 10-20mins only.
4. BREAKFAST is the highest standard for Japanese breakfast! Has Sashimi and all options!
5. Evening supper 9-11pm Ramen is good too, hearty
Not so good part: abit tooooo crowded and packed and touristy, and the shoe area can stink quite abit tbh..

"I did not have the breakfast but the hotel was lovely, the staff super nice and helpful, the station is only an 8 minute walk. Super calm and peaceful no matter what time. 10/10"
