"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt...

"Enjoyed our few days at the hotel. Nice rooms with very comfortable bed. Good facilities in the room but no safe. Breakfast was good - pretty standard. Pastries were not great - pain-au-chocolat and croissants were disappointing. We had a couple of meals in the bar. The burgers were not good. Tasted like very processed meat. Pizza was good. "Ein wunderschönes altes Hotel in bester Lage. Zwei Kritikpunkte: mein Zimmer war ohne Möglichkeit das Fenster zu öffnen. Ausserdem, gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein Lokal, das an Freitag und Samstag offenbar Livemusik anbietet und das enorm laut. Als Frühaufsteher würde ich das Hotel daher leider am Wochenende meiden. Ansonsten habe ich mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt."
