"The hotel was brand new, with lovely wooden floors and decor. Check in was easy and welcoming and location is close to shops, restaurants and Ueno station. The room is a large open space (we had three people in the flower room). There was also a portable cooking hob if you need to do simple cooking. The location was better than expected as I thought maybe a tad far from Ueno (12 mins walk), but closer station Ueno-Okachimmachi, 3 mins away, actually has more convenient connections. We intend to return to same room next year. Staff were very welcoming"
