"Very comfortable stay at Le Bouchon. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Well appointed room with wall aircon for comfort. Pod coffee maker was a nice touch and to make a change the TV was of a good size to be able to sit up in bed and watch! Breakfast options were so varied and it was all made freshly. Downsides - there was no USB ports in the plug sockets - i luckily had a power bank with me to charge a phone. The toast for breakfast was dry despite butter. "

"We had an amazing 1 night stay. We had parked up the road just off high street (24 hour car park) as parking limited (permit only outside) at the pub but was easy to find car park and walk down to the pub was a couple of minutes. When we arrived in the pub we were welcomed by Babs and Summer. Summer showed us to our room, you have to go through a staff only area and as it is a pub the ceilings were low but we liked that as it makes the stay different. "Arrived at 2.10pm (50 minutes early) and despite the room being ready I was advised I couldn’t check in until 3pm unless I paid £15. For 50 minutes that’s ridiculous. Bed was great but room even with window closed was very noisy. Fan in the shower is poor. Around the tv was exceptionally dusty and the fan provider was filthy, we had to scrub it clean. The kettle was full of water and limescale."
